Welcome to the Quinte Skating Club’s revamped website. This website has been a long time in the making, but Quinte is proud to present this new, updated space.
This website is designed to provide parents and skaters with information about registration, programs, events, fund raising, coaches, etc. It is also designed to celebrate Quinte skaters and their accomplishments throughout the years. So, enjoy and if you have something to contribute, please let the club know.
The ‘News’ tab on the website will keep skaters and parents informed about club happenings such as tests passed, competition results, upcoming events and everything else that does not fall under the other specific, navigation tabs.
Executive Position:
The Board for the Quinte Skating Club still has the position of Secretary available. This is traditionally a two-year term. If interested in filling this position, please notify a member of Quinte Skating Club’s board. As per COVID protocols the Club is holding zoom meetings until restrictions are lifted.
Covid Protocol:
The Club is anticipating a ‘return to play’ order soon from the Provincial Government which is very exciting for our members. However, as part of this organization (skaters, parents, guests, coaches and board members) Covid Protocols must be followed. Quinte Skating Club adheres to the guidelines set out by Skate Canada, Skate Ontario and the City of Belleville. If members of the Club do not follow these rules, Quinte Skating Club could lose its ice times. The City is diligent in monitoring all its organizations’ adherences to Covid protocols. The QSC’s coaches and PAs have done an exceptional job making sure these rules are followed. Everyone must remember to abide by the following procedures. Members must wait outside until it is the Club’s assigned time to enter. Members must be punctual. Members must wear a mask and always keep six feet apart in and outside of the arena. Individuals accompanying members must adhere to the same rules. Please be patient and kind; all members of QSC are in this together.
